TEXT :PSALM 85 :1-13.
#The joy that revival brings...
(Psalms 85:1. LORD, thou hast been favorable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob).
The psalmist started with praising the Lord for the wonderful works he has done To the Nation of ISREAL(Jacob).
First he revealed how God had deliver his land By FAVOR(good will intervention not By merit). And you must take note the phrase "Brought back" is another word for "REVIVAL".. Meaning it takes FAVOR for REVIVAL TO OCCUR...
(Psalms 85:2. Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.
3. Thou hast taken away all thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine anger.)
You see what FAVOR has done before the beginning of the REVIVAL ??, it first cleanse them and make them worthy to receive REVIVAL...
MEANING FAVOUR IS ONE PREREQUISITE TO FLUSH AWAY ALL SINS BEFORE REVIVAL CAN OCCUR.
(Psalms 85:4. Turn us, O God of our salvation, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.)
Take note, this phrase also "Turn us" Means "Restore us" which is another word for "REVIVAL" as well.
Haven Gotten that, u can see from here that it also Takes Revival for God's indignation,Plague or anger to cease upon a Territory or a people...
Could it be that what the WORLD PRESENTLY NEED NOW IS REVIVAL TO BE FREE FROM ITS SCOURGING PLAGUE...
WE PRAY FOR REVIVAL UPON THE EARTH IN JESUS NAME.AMEN
(Psalms 85:6. Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?)
Kai! This is how painful and devastated it is to remain bound and LIVING without REVIVAL; JOY WILL ONLY RETURN TO THE PEOPLE UNTIL REVIVAL FINALLY OCCUR...
HOW SWEET IT IS TO BE REVIVED(For the fullness of God's LIFE/ZOE to be experienced anew!!!)
So in short these are the JOYS THAT REVIVAL BIRTH..
1. AN OFFENCE FREE LIFE: (Psalms 85:4) Revival doesn't just make people free from offence it brings JUSTIFICATION (Total freedom from guilt).. Hallelujah!
2. THE JOY OF SALVATION: (Psalms 85:7)
There's no such joy greater than this! Haven secured an eternal life in Christ Jesus and freed from the consequences of SIN. GLORY!!!
3. All ROUNDER PEACE: (Psalms 85:8).. Revival is like a War against all forces of oppression and evil task masters.After a Revival the people will be left with zero worries and fear of enemies,sickness, death or any form of calamity..
4. THE EFFULGENCE OF GOD'S GLORY:(Psalms 85:9). It's the prayer of the earth that Heaven comes down on Earth..The Glory of God is the full presence of God causing the full manifestation of the supernatural on Earth. After Revival sickness, poverty and other ill-traits can't stay...
5.DIVINE INCREASE AND BLESSINGS:(Psalms 85:12) Unlimited Blessings and supernatural increase in our endeavors is another Joy that Revival brings.. Everything under revival Over Multiplies and remain fresh.
6. DIVINE DIRECTION AND LEADINGS: (Psalms 85:13 ...and shall set us in the way of his steps.)When u're drunk with the wine of REVIVAL, YOU CAN'T BE LOST UNDER ITS STUPOR..Ur ways are directly ordered by God.
